A leading mission oriented healthcare provider based out of US has hospitals located in US and LATAM and is focused on expanding their footprint in the LATAM region through partnerships and acquisitions. Their new facilities use ERP, Supply Chain and EMR systems that vary from facility to facility and also by region. The organization was looking to get a consolidated view of both their operations and finance data to enable BI and advanced analytics for finance, operations and patient experience.
Consolidating data from multiple varied sources in different geographical regions and currency denomination is a challenge. Additionally, this was the customer’s first cloud based solution with users needing role based access. The customer needed a future proof solution that can support multiple regional and one corporate BI & Analytics teams that are tasked with gaining insights for their specific needs from consolidated data.
pSolv proposed, architected and is implementing a HIPAA compliant AWS based data lake solution in phases. Phase-I was data ingestion from CSV files with integration to currency exchanges for rate conversion. Primarily, Phase-I increased the customer’s comfort with a cloud based solution that helped experimenting with BI solutions and also facilitated online access to financial statements, supply chain monitoring and so on.
Phase-2 of the solution includes direct ingestion of data from multiple sources with connectivity and data pipeline enabled by pSolv’s Needletail platform.
